Welcome to the Chateau de Montigny-sur-Aube
Enriched by eight centuries of history and architectural achievements, the chateau of Montigny-sur-Aube, located two and a half hours from Paris at the intersection of three regions (Côte d’Or, Haute-Marne and Aube) in the Forest National Park, combines culture and patrimony with horticulture and gastronomy.
Come and discover the chapel, jewel of the 16th century Renaissance, the orchards and vegetable gardens in the style of the 19th century, the moat filled with water where swans, ducks and carps have made their home along with many other things
Come and immerse yourself in the history of a property which, starting out as a fortress home in the 12th century and continued up through the Renaissance great works up to the 20th century, also housed numerous illustrious men.
You will also discover a great moment of our history symbolized by the Harry Truman grove, inaugurated by his grandson and the American authorities to memorialize his presence at the chateau for several weeks of training, a moment in his life which marked forever the birth of a great leader.
Finally taste the savory organic produce of several hundreds of fruits and vegetables at the "Table des jardiniers", our farmhouse, which, at the high season awaits you in the fig garden or the terrace of the Orangerie.
